Every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness Some momentary awareness comes As an unexpected visitor. Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they're a crowd of sorrows, Who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably

 I. The work

I  'm Aiyesha Ayyub, founder of Home of Aara. I work privately with leaders, founders, and high-performing individuals who have arrived at a point where the strategies that built their success have started to cost them in their relationships, in their bodies, in their decision-making, in the quiet hours when no one is watching.

The work is identity-level. It is not coaching in the conventional sense, and it is not therapy. It sits closer to what the older traditions called soul work — examining the structures of self that were built in response to early environments, recognising which of those structures are still load-bearing and which have become the cage, and rebuilding the architecture from the inside out.

Most of my clients come to me already accomplished. The presenting problem is rarely the actual problem. We work with what's underneath.

II.Methodology

How the work is structured

Engagements are bespoke. The four-phase structure below is the spine; the specifics are designed to your case.

Phase One : Assessment.

We begin with a detailed intake. I want to understand the full surface of what you're navigating: the situation, the patterns, the costs, the relationships in play, the inner narrative, what's already been tried. This is not a triage call. It is a diagnostic conversation that often takes more than one sitting.

Phase two : Engagement design.

Based on the assessment, I scope the work depth required, anticipated duration, communication cadence and we agree on terms. Pricing is effort-based and discussed at this stage. Engagements typically run on a three-month minimum rolling basis; in some cases, monthly rolling.

Phase three : Diagnostic and Application.

I draw on the Positive Intelligence Saboteur Assessment and other psychological frameworks selected for the case applied psychology models, identity work, somatic and contemplative methods where appropriate. From the diagnostic, I design a custom set of questions, practices, and lines of inquiry specific to your terrain. This is not a programme you enrol in; it is a body of work built for you.

Phase four : Accompaniment.

Real change is a daily question, not a weekly one. Most clients communicate with me on a daily cadence so that the shifts can be tracked, supported, and recalibrated in real time. We meet for deeper sessions on a structured schedule. The work continues until the agreed scope is complete or you choose to extend.

III.What brought me here

I came to this work the long way around.

I trained as a civil engineer, ran operations across construction, packaging, e-commerce, and logistics, and built businesses on three continents. I have the kind of CV that looks linear from the outside and was anything but on the inside. Along the way, I worked through my own architecture — the patterns I had built to survive, the relationships those patterns kept producing, the places where my professional success was being subsidised by my personal collapse.

The turning point was recognising that no amount of external achievement was going to resolve what was actually happening underneath. The work I do now is the work I did on myself, refined into a practice for people whose stakes are high enough that they cannot afford to keep deferring it.

I am certified in Modern Applied Psychology through the Achology Institute, Scotland (programme by Kain Ramsay), and continue to train across psychological and contemplative traditions. I draw on Vedic and Eastern frameworks where they illuminate the work, but the practice itself is grounded, structured, and accountable.

IV. What "Aara" means

Aara means light bringer in Sanskrit. The intention of this practice is straightforward: to be a place where serious people can do the deepest work of their lives, with a practitioner who can hold both the systems and the soul of it.

If you've read this far, you're likely already in conversation with whatever brought you here. The next step is a consultation.
